Best way to pack items in boxes

In order to safely transport your belongings between properties, we have listed some of the ways our teams packs properties for clients.

We tend to wrap most items in packing paper, delicate items bubble wrap and everything else on a case by case basis.

Kitchen & Bathroom

When packing kitchen belongings, we use packing paper and lots of it!

When packing anything fragile we use one piece of packing paper per item, for more delicate items such as delicate glassware, taping to secure the packing paper on the item works well.

For vases and large glass items, we suggest bubble wrap.

Book/crystal boxes are best for most items, large items we use tea chest boxes

Bedrooms & Living Areas

Bedrooms and living areas are generally very quick and easy to pack as there tends to be less delicate and fragile items to pack in boxes.

Depending on the level of care you want to take will determine how the items are packed.

Best practice to packing clothing is 1 piece of packing paper per item of clothing layered in the box or using vacuum seal bags and then placing in box.

For hanging clothes such as coats, suits and jackets, using porta robe boxes can help make life a lot easier and save a drip to the dry cleaners or another night spent ironing.
