What vehicles do movers use?

The type of vehicles you may require on your move depends on how many items are required to be moved and the access at both the pickup address and the drop off address.

Vehicles
Utes

Utes are great when you have tight access or height restrictions not allowing a truck to fit.

Utes are also great for small moves.

Ignite Removals has a ute which we utilise to move furniture through car parks and tight driveways where we can’t fit a truck to minimise time and cost for the client.

Vans

Vans are great for similar reasons to utes, however they provide the bonus of being covered if weather isn’t ideal for moving furniture outside.

Ignite Removals had a van which we utilise to deliver boxes and packing materials and to complete Airtasker & Facebook Marketplace deliveries.

Trucks
Pantech Trucks

Pantech trucks are used by most moving companies. Pantech trucks have the option to have a removal fitout which are ideal for moving homes and offices. They are fully enclosed, have rails to tie furniture to and are easier to pack furniture and boxes into.

Our trucks are all fitted with metal rails that have wood panels to protect furniture, wooden floors as opposed to metal or grated floors and are fitted with tail lifts and/or moving ramps to make loading and unloading furniture easier

Pantech trucks can be difficult to load and unload pallets so having access to the full truck body from both sides makes loading pallets with a forklift or pallet jack easy.

Flatbed Truck

Flatbed trucks are ideal for carrying shipping containers, mobile storage boxes and vehicles.
